Welcome to Zion Lutheran Church, a place where we are grounded in Christ and sent to be a blessing. Zion is a warm and meaningful place to encounter God and God’s people and find a spiritual home.

Zion is starting a new after school program for elementary aged kids. Called “Peacemakers,” the program will teach life skills, help with homework, play games and enjoy snacks. The program is Thursday afternoons from 2:30 – 5:00 PM. For a registration form, please click: Peacemakers After School program registration form.

Weekend Update B

Zion is a dynamic, urban congregation with a strong heart for serving in the local community. Come to Zion and you will find people who mentor in schools, cook food for people in need, volunteer at food pantries and do all sorts of things in their daily lives to join in with God at work in the world. You’ll also find an inclusive community where all people are welcome and encouraged to fully participate. And if spirituality is as important as religion to you, this is a vibrant congregation giving attention to our spiritual journeys and glad to join with you on your journey as well.

Reconciling Works LogoAll are welcome. Yes, all means all (no footnotes)! Zion is a Reconciling in Christ congregation – meaning we welcome  all people to participate fully in the life of the church.
