Being a part of a congregation means finding ways to connect with people and participate in ways that either help us grow deeper in faith, build meaningful connections with other people, or allow us to find ways to use our gifts to make a difference in the world. Many of the things we do include all of these aspects – growth, connections and making a difference.
As Zion, we have an intergenerational approach to much of what we do. Often our interactions when we gather will connect a four year old and an eighty-nine year old in a meaningful connection! So sometimes we just do what we do together – a benefit of a relational sized congregation!
But often there are things that we have for more specific connections with a smaller, more accessible group of people. These may be for kids or adults, in small groups or specialized teams. These ways of doing ministry allow lots of us to find one or more niches to grow and participate. Check out the ministry programs we have and see if there’s a place for you!
